*This course is ideal for any outdoorsman, or survivalist, military or Law enforcement members wanting to expand their land navigation knowledge. .

Course Description:

• How to read a topographic map and understand terrain, plot way points, routes, utilize resections, etc.

• Learn your personal pace counts, and how it is effected by different terrain, and how a pace count can be used to confirm your location.

• The proper use of a compass, magnetic north vs true north, and using a compass in relation to your map to find your location and navigate to your destination.

• This 2 day course will have some brief classroom time in the morning and then we will start training in Florida’s beautiful Ocala national Forest, where we will spend the rest of the day in the woods exercising these skills through practical application!

Note- This course is very strenuous and as a student you will be preforming many movements through different body positions. You don't have to have prior experience, but be aware this is far from a static shooting course. You will sweat, and get dirty.

• This course is non-refundable

• All attendees must be able to legally own and operate a firearm as per FL and Federal laws

• If students can not safely keep up with the course tempo, the instructor staff may have students continue drills with gun clear and safe or sit out during the exercise for the safety of the group.
